A portrait of Miyavi that I finally got to finishing. This was a fun drawing, but really frustrating. The main things that made it a difficult drawing was not being able to get the ear and the nose/mouth area to look right, and of course the tattoos... One thing I think I need to work on is being able to get things to look proportionate. I know people do grids, but I don't have the patience to do them all the time xD. Also, I think my shading hasn't gotten much better. I might know where do it, but it just doesn't look quite clean. For example, making some shadows look dark is really hard, and blending it with a tissue leaves exposed areas that are still not completely shaded in. It might be the paper I use, but hopefully I can improve my shading with the same paper I have been using.
