'See you later, space cowboy'

Oh man, how long did this take? Maybe 8 hours or so. This drawing was done with nothing but a regular ball point pen. I was attempting to do an ink drawing like J.R. Mylne, but it just didn't work out. Do take a look at his work, google him, he has amazing pieces of work done with just a ballpoint pen.

The shading pretty much sucks. I just didn't have the same patience to do it perfectly, which I probably wouldn't have been able to do. I'd need at least 11 years experience xD, according to J.R. Mylne. I did a bit of photoshop, the smoke, and brightening the right side, because my scanner has broken and so I can only take pictures of my drawings. The lighting is always rather off due to this. I'll reupload a better one once my scanner is fixed.

I kind of wish I did it in pencil, it might've came out better, but at least I tried something new. I probably won't try to do this again anytime soon; my neck suffered quite a bit from the intense shading process.

I recently started to watch some Cowboy Bebop and I must say that Spike is one of the most laid-back and coolest characters I've seen. I'd have to say that his style surpasses that of Mugen and Jin from Samurai Champloo, but that may just be because he's a cowboy xD. Anyways, hope you guys like it!
